Journey to the End of the Course

This synopsis will lack the narrative arc that learners intuitively come to understand as a prerequisite of the “reflective essay”. By convention this follows something like the form of “The Hero’s Journey”, complete with an episode corresponding to “resisting the call” wherein our protagonist- learner shrinks from the challenge ahead or – alternately - puts up a spirited defence against the imposition of knowledge and ideas which will later prove transformatory.
